Congratulations to the participants of the 2011 Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon! The weather gods blessed us with no rain and plenty of sunshine! Early bird registration is open for the 2012 event, set for Saturday, October 27, 2012. The first 250 people to register get the early bird pricing of $65. After we sell out at that level the price will increase to $75.

Damaris Rosich-Schwartz Thanks for putting up a great race (I missed the towels that were handed during the race but I love the tacos). I had to DNF last year due to the flu but this year I rocked it in my angel costume.

Welp - we did again! Rob & I have survived another 13.1. GO US!

Hydrating before the race means you GOTTA GO before the race! I cannot tell you how happy I was for REAL bathrooms and no porter potties!! PHEW! My first half - the only option was porter potties. (VOM) Thank you Jungle Island for letting us use real potties. :P

Who moved the FINISH LINE! NO JOKE! This is the best race shirt ever. Can’t relate AT ALL. Haha

Hello Runners!

We hope you are very excited and have your costumes and running shoes ready to go. Here are the final instructions for the Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon this Saturday, October 29. The race will start at 7am!

Shuttle Service

The shuttle service will run on both directions between start and finish lines from 5am to 11am. If you park your car at the Jungle Island you must get it out by 11am.

Start/Finish Lines

The start line is located at the Jungle Island, 1111 Parrot Jungle Trail, Miami. The finish line is located at the South Pointe Park, Miami.

After Party/Award Ceremony

The after party will be held at Nikki Beach from 9am to 11am where food will be served. Awards will start at 10:30am. The address is 1 Ocean Drive, Miami Beach.

Gear Check-In

You can check in your gear from 5:30am at the start line.

Last Minute Registrations

Last minute registrations will be taken at Equinox South Beach on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. The price is $100 cash only. Equinox’s address is 520 Collins Avenue, Miami Beach. Parking is FREE so don’t forget to show your ticket for validation at Equinox.

Packet Pick-Up

If you have already registered, please come pick up your packet at Equinox on Friday from 4pm to 8pm. There will be no packet pick up on race day.

Rain or shine the race is happening.
Use caution on the boardwalk if it rains as it might be slippery!

Hello runners!

Shuttle Service

The shuttle service will run on both directions between start and finish lines from 5am to 11am. If you park your car at the Jungle Island you must get it out by 11am.

Back by popular demand is the combo registration for our Halloween event and the Publix Ft. Lauderdale A1A Half Marathon. There is now an option on Active.com for the combo. You will be saving $15 when you take advantage of this opportunity. The combo is available on both the Halloween and A1A registration webpages.

Three Packet Pick-up locations scheduled for the

Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon

Attention local runners We are going to make it easy for you to pick up your packets by offering 3 locations: one in Palm Beach county, one in Broward county, and one in Miami Beach. We are finalizing the locations and the schedule now, but we can tell you that Palm Beach county will be on Tuesday, Oct. 25th; Broward county on Wed., Oct. 26th; and Miami Beach on Oct. 28th. Runners will be able to pick up their packets at any of the three locations.

Please Note:
You must be registered by Friday, Oct. 21st to be able to pick up your packets in the Palm Beach or Broward county locations! If you register during the week before the race, your packet will not be ready for an early pick-up! For those who register after Oct. 21st, you will have to pick up your packet in Miami Beach.

Once again, our signature post race party will be held at Nikki Beach from 8:30am - 11:00am.

Nikki Beach is a short walk from the Finish Line in South Pointe Park. There is no better way to celebrate your accomplishment among friends and fellow runners as you rest in comfort at this beautiful venue on the beach.

The Shuttle bus stop by the Finish Area will be located at 300 South Pointe Drive View Map

The Awards ceremony will be held at 10:30am in the club, so after you rehydrate with water and POWERADE at the finish line, head to Nikki Beach for some food and celebration!

Free Shuttle Bus Service on Race Day

We will be offering free shuttle service from the Finish Area to the Start Area and vice versa. Shuttle buses will start running at 5:00am on Saturday morning to take people to the Start at Jungle Island.

You can also park at the Start Area on Jungle Island beginning at 5am. Please note that if you park at Jungle Island you must get back to your car by 11:00am.

There will be shuttle available to take people from the Finish back to Jungle Island after the race.

If you plan on partying and attending the Awards Ceremony at Nikki Beach, we recommend that you park in a lot located in proximity to the Finish Area and Nikki Beach.
